If you buy a phone as a consumer, you generally have a complaint right for 2 years under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. It covers faults that were present at delivery, even if they show up later. Ordinary wear and damage you caused yourself are not a defect.

For the first 12 months the fault is presumed to have been there at purchase, unless the store can prove otherwise. After that you need to make it more likely that the fault was original.

What the store can choose

The store can generally choose repair or replacement first. You can refuse that if the remedy is impossible, takes an unreasonable time or fails. The next step can then be a price reduction or cancellation.

Keep the receipt, serial number and a short description of the fault. This text is not legal advice. Kvito collects the proof, but does not decide the case.
