Terms

The framework for using Kvito. An overview of responsibility, Gmail, Amanda and your rights as a user.

1. Acceptance and scope

When you create an account or use Kvito, you accept these terms and ourprivacy policy. If you cannot accept them, you must not use the service.

These terms apply to the Kvito app (iOS, Android and web where available) and related services provided by Kvito (CVR 44353687), including kvito.dk.

2. What Kvito does

Kvito is a digital receipt management app that lets you store, organise and analyse receipts and purchase information. The service may also include:

• Import from images, PDF (on supported devices) and Gmail (manual mail scanning and, with Premium, Gmail auto scan)
• Automatic lookup of store policy and product warranty from public sources
• Price match market scans and an overview of returns, price match and warranty claims/guarantees
• Push notifications (by plan and settings)
• Sharing receipts with other users via invitation or share link
• A referral programme with rewards
• Drafting and sending price match claims (Standard and Premium)
• Receipt delivery, bug reporting/feedback and Amanda, which helps simplify questions about purchases and legal rules

Certain features are tied to the subscription plan (free, Starter, Standard or Premium), the size of the receipt archive and the quotas shown in the app. Some features are provided on a best effort basis or as beta features and may change over time. On web, certain import methods and push may be limited compared to mobile.

3. Account and age

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Your account is personal and must not be used by others without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Kvito to:

• Upload false, misleading or illegal receipts.
• Upload or process content you are not entitled to use, including other people's mailboxes or personal data without a valid basis.
• Share receipts or personal data with recipients who may not or should not receive them.
• Attempt to abuse, hack, circumvent limits or disrupt the service.
• Use Gmail, mail, sharing or price match features for spam, harassment or deception.
• Share your account with other people or use the service for commercial purposes without agreement.

5. Gmail, email and other integrations

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, you give Kvito permission to read relevant emails and attachments to find receipts. When you use relevant features, you may also allow Kvito to create drafts or send emails on your behalf.

Manual mail scanning and Gmail auto scan are subject to the quotas and plans shown in the app. Gmail auto scan requires Premium, a connected Gmail account and that you enable the feature yourself. Auto scan is automatically disabled if you no longer have Premium. You can disconnect Gmail or disable auto scan at any time under Account.

You are responsible for the recipient addresses, bank details, messages and attachments you enter or choose to send. You can revoke Gmail access at any time in the app or with Google.

6. AI, Amanda and not legal advice

Kvito uses automated processing for receipt extraction, Amanda answers, store policy and product warranty lookup, price match market scans and certain assessments of price match and stores. These features are assistance tools and can be wrong.

Kvito may automatically find and display a store's return, price match, warranty, insurance and subscription terms from public sources and your receipts. Product warranty and insurance/subscription on line items are also extracted from the receipt or discovered on the store's pages when possible.

This information is an assistance tool and may be incomplete or outdated. Kvito does not guarantee that a store actually offers price match, warranty or returns as shown. You must always check the store's current terms before acting.

Price match market scans compare items from your receipts with prices found via external search services. Results are indicative and do not guarantee that a store will honour a claim. Sending price match claims from the app requires Standard or Premium and is done on your behalf with the details you choose to save and send.

Amanda is only an informational assistance tool and is not legal advice. Kvito does not determine who is right or wrong, and you must not rely solely on AI answers, return deadlines, warranty assessments or price match opportunities without verifying the information yourself.

7. Your content and your rights

As a starting point, you own the data and documents you upload or import to Kvito. By using the service, you grant us a limited right to host, store, analyse, convert, transfer and display the content when necessary to deliver the features, including when you share a receipt with another user or via a share link.

You can share individual receipts with other registered Kvito users via an invitation in the app or via a time limited share link (e.g. https://share.kvito.dk/...). You are responsible for ensuring that the recipient may and should receive the information you share, and that the link is only sent to the right people.

You must not upload content you do not have the rights to use. Your data is processed in accordance with ourprivacy policy, and you can manage access, clearing and deletion under Account → Your data & privacy in the app.

8. Intellectual property

The Kvito app, its design and content belong to Kvito. You are granted a non exclusive, non transferable right to use the app for personal purposes.

You must not copy, distribute or modify the app without our express permission.

9. Availability, changes and beta features

The service is provided «as is». We may change, improve, limit or remove features, including beta features, if necessary for technical, security or business reasons.

Kvito depends on third party services including Supabase, Google and OpenAI. If these services are unavailable or change their terms, it may affect Kvito.

10. Limitation of liability

We strive to deliver a stable and secure service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

Kvito is not liable for loss, damage or inconvenience arising from:

• Downtime or technical errors in the service.
• Inaccuracies in AI extracted receipt data.
• Errors in Amanda answers, price match assessments or store and return information.
• Missed deadlines, rejected claims or lost opportunities because you did not verify the information yourself.
• Loss of data due to your own actions or circumstances with third party providers.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you may have paid for the service. However, nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot be waived or limited under applicable law.

11. Termination and suspension

You can stop using Kvito at any time and delete your profile and stored app data in the app. We may suspend or restrict access to the service if necessary for security reasons, on suspicion of abuse or to comply with the law.

We may update these terms with reasonable notice. If you continue using the service after the effective date, you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law, disputes and contact

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes are decided by the Danish courts. As a consumer in the EU, you still have the mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your home country.

As a consumer, you can file a complaint with theDanish Consumer Complaints Board if we cannot resolve a dispute directly. The European Commission's platform for online dispute resolution is atec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Mandatory consumer rights

If you use Kvito as a consumer, your mandatory rights under Danish law and relevant EU law still apply. These terms must be interpreted in line with the protection the law gives you.

If a provision in the terms proves invalid or cannot be fully enforced, that does not affect the remaining provisions. The invalid part must instead be interpreted as closely as possible to the purpose behind the provision and within the limits of the law.

14. Reporting illegal content (DSA art. 16)

If you encounter content in Kvito that you believe is illegal or contrary to these terms, you can write tokontakt@kvito.dk.

Reports are handled in accordance with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), Article 16. We confirm receipt, assess the content without undue delay and inform you of our decision and your complaint options when relevant.

15. Subscriptions (Starter, Standard and Premium)

Kvito has a free plan and three optional, auto renewing paid plans billed monthly: Starter, Standard and Premium. Product IDs in the app store: starter, standard and premium. Older purchases with the product ID «month» are treated as Premium when restored.

The receipt archive is limited by your active plan: up to 15 receipts on the free plan, up to 20 on Starter, up to 30 on Standard and unlimited on Premium. You cannot add new receipts once you have reached the limit for your plan until you delete receipts or upgrade. If a paid subscription expires and you have more than 15 receipts, you get 4 days notice. The 15 newest stay open; the rest are locked and deleted on day 4 at 23:59 (Europe/Copenhagen) unless you upgrade. When downgrading between paid plans, the oldest receipts may be deleted immediately until the count fits the new plan's limit.

Free usage includes manual import (photo and PDF on supported devices), connecting Gmail for manual mail scans, sharing receipts with other users, share links for receipts, the referral programme, data export and Amanda with up to 5 messages per week as well as up to 1 manual mail scan per week. Free usage does not include a return/warranty overview, price match (viewing, push or sending claims) or Gmail auto scan.

Starter includes everything in Free within the archive limits mentioned and adds a return/warranty overview with push notifications for return and warranty deadlines, up to 8 Amanda messages per week and up to 3 manual mail scans per week. Starter does not include price match (viewing, push or sending claims) or Gmail auto scan.

Standard includes everything in Starter and adds price match in the app (viewing opportunities, push for finds and sending claims), up to 12 Amanda messages per week and up to 5 manual mail scans per week. Standard does not include Gmail auto scan.

Premium includes everything in Standard and adds Gmail auto scan (automatic server side import of new receipt emails when Gmail is connected and the feature is enabled, even when the app is closed), an unlimited receipt archive and up to 10 Amanda messages per day as well as up to 2 manual mail scans per day. Gmail auto scan does not count towards the manual quota. Gmail auto scan is automatically disabled if you no longer have Premium.

The current prices and limits are shown in the app before you complete the purchase.

Purchases and payment are processed by the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Kvito does not receive your payment card details. Apple or Google is the legal payment processor for the purchase.

The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. The amount is charged to your Apple ID or your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.

You can cancel the subscription via the App Store or Google Play subscription settings: on iPhone under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, and on Android via Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting your Kvito account does not automatically cancel an active subscription, and cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your saved receipts, but archive limits for your new plan may still apply, and older receipts may be removed as described above.

Refunds, reimbursements and withdrawal are handled under Apple's or Google's rules as the payment processor. Kvito cannot process refunds directly. Contact us atkontakt@kvito.dk if you have technical problems activating your subscription after a valid purchase.

We may change prices, plans or the contents of the subscriptions with reasonable notice where permitted under App Store or Google Play rules and applicable law. Continued use of the subscription after material changes take effect may require your consent under applicable rules.

Nothing in this section limits your mandatory consumer rights under Danish and EU law, including rules on pre purchase information and on cancellation of ongoing agreements, to the extent they apply to your purchase.

On iPhone, Apple promotional and offer codes can be redeemed directly in the App Store or under Settings → Apple Account → Redeem Gift Card or Code. Kvito receives information about the active subscription once the purchase is completed.

16. Referral programme

Kvito has an optional referral programme. Each user can get a personal referral code and share it with others via a link (e.g. https://kvito.dk/invite/...) or directly in the app.

New users can enter a referral code for up to 2 hours after creating their account. An account can only use one referral code, and you cannot use your own code.

If you were referred and purchase a subscription for the first time, you can get 50% off the first month on Starter, Standard and Premium, even if a long time passes between entering the code and your first purchase. The discount is shown in the app before you complete the purchase and applies only once per account. The final price and payment are handled by the App Store or Google Play.

When 3 invited users you have referred become paying subscribers (Starter, Standard or Premium), regardless of when they pay after using your code, you can earn 1 month of free access to features corresponding to the subscription plan most of the 3 have chosen. In case of a tie between the plans, the Premium level is granted. The reward is a temporary bonus in the app (not a separate purchase in the App Store or Google Play) and may have an expiry date. After each completed reward, the count towards the next free month is reset.

We may change, suspend or end the referral programme with reasonable notice if necessary for technical, security or business reasons. Abuse of the referral programme, e.g. fake accounts, self referral or circumvention of the rules, may result in rewards not being paid out or in access being restricted.

17. Receipt archive and plan limits

The receipt archive is limited by your active plan: up to 15 receipts on the free plan, up to 20 on Starter, up to 30 on Standard and unlimited on Premium. You cannot add new receipts once you have reached the limit for your plan until you delete receipts or upgrade. If a paid subscription expires and you have more than 15 receipts, you get 4 days notice. 18. Push notifications

Push notifications are delivered via Firebase on supported mobile devices when you have granted permission. Which types you receive depends on your plan and your notification settings under Preferences. Kvito is not liable for missed deadlines if push is disabled, the device does not receive messages, or you do not act on a notification.

19. Bug reports and feedback

When you send feedback or report a bug, we process your message and any technical attachments via Sentry. Do not use bug reporting for sensitive personal data you do not want shared with our error tracking.

20. Restore and Apple codes

You can restore previous purchases via Account when the app runs on iOS or Android. On iPhone, Apple promotional and offer codes can be redeemed directly in the App Store or under Settings → Apple Account → Redeem Gift Card or Code. Kvito receives information about the active subscription once the purchase is completed.
