Elgiganten price matches at the moment of purchase against a fixed competitor list. That is the store’s policy, not a right in the Sale of Goods Act.

Elgiganten offers price match while you are buying, not as a general right to money back days later. The item must be identical, in stock and documented. The match is against Elgiganten’s own list, including Punkt1, Bilka, Føtex, Skousen and Komplett.

It does not cover marketplace sellers, outlet, demo, opening offers, bundle offers or foreign sellers. For large appliances the list can be wider. Check the current page on elgiganten.dk before you count on a yes.

What to have ready

  • Receipt or order number
  • The lower price, with store and date
  • The same model, not a near match

Kvito can store the receipt and show a deadline when one can be derived. Kvito does not guarantee that Elgiganten pays the difference. A 2 year complaint right under the Sale of Goods Act is separate from price match and applies when the item is faulty.
